The e-Visa page tells you that you might not be eligible, and here is why. The Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs places Bangladesh on its conditional e-Visa list. In the Ministry’s own words, citizens of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Iraq must possess “a valid Schengen members or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit” to qualify for a single-entry e-Visa valid for one month. If you hold one of those, you can apply online at evisa.gov.tr. If you do not, your route is a sticker visa, and since 1 February 2026 the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Dhaka states that visa applications for Türkiye are “only accepted by Mosaic Visa (Only authorised visa application center in Bangladesh).”
That second fact is six months old at the time of writing and most of the internet has not caught up with it. More on that below, because it is the part that can send you to the wrong office.

Two conditions apply either way. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival in Türkiye, per the Ministry. And the e-Visa is “only valid when the purpose of travel is tourism or commerce”; anything else, including study and work, goes through an embassy or consulate regardless of what other visas you hold.
The e-Visa route, if the condition applies to you
The Ministry launched the electronic visa system in April 2013 and describes obtaining an e-Visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr as taking roughly three minutes. For a Bangladeshi passport holder the “three minutes” is real, but only after the eligibility condition is met.
Read the condition carefully, because each word does work:
- It is a valid Schengen, US, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit. Not an expired one, and not a visa you have applied for.
- The Ministry’s wording covers a visa or a residence permit, so a residence permit from a Schengen state or the UK is a qualifying document in its own right.
- The result is a single-entry e-Visa valid for one month, not a multiple-entry or long-validity document.
You will also see widely repeated figures of 180 days validity and a 30-day stay for Bangladeshi e-Visa holders. Those do not match the Ministry’s own description of the conditional single-entry, one-month e-Visa, and we could not reconcile them against an official page. The e-Visa document itself states its validity dates and permitted duration of stay. Read those two fields on the approved e-Visa before you book anything, and treat them, not a blog, as the answer for your case.
We are not quoting an e-Visa fee. The official system displays the fee for your nationality and visa type during the application, and no official figure we could verify was available to publish here.
The sticker visa route, and the fact almost every page gets wrong
If you do not hold a qualifying Schengen, US, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit, this is you.
The process has two halves. First, the Ministry operates a Pre-Application System for Turkish Sticker Visa, and its published instruction is that all kinds of applications for Turkish visas must be made through that system, after which applicants apply to the Turkish Mission to complete the procedures, including submitting the application form and passport. Second, in Bangladesh that submission happens at an authorized visa application center, not over the Embassy’s own counter.
Here is the current fact, and the reason to distrust older pages. The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Dhaka published an announcement dated 02.02.2026 stating that visa applications for Türkiye are only accepted by Mosaic Visa, described as the only authorized visa application center in Bangladesh, as of 1 February 2026. The Embassy publishes the center’s details as House 77, Block M, Road 11, Banani, Dhaka, with the phone numbers +880 24881 1570 and +880 1315063037, the email bangladesh@mosaicvisa.com, and the website mosaicvisa.com.
Now search the same topic yourself. A large share of the pages still in circulation name a different company as the sole authorized center, citing an authorization dating from 2019. Those pages were correct once. They describe an arrangement the Embassy replaced on 1 February 2026.
This is the single most expensive kind of error in visa content, because it does not read like an error. It reads like a specific, confident, verifiable detail. Verify the current authorized center on the Embassy’s own announcements page before you go anywhere with your passport, including against this article if you are reading it months from now. Visa application center contracts change hands, and when they do, every guide on the internet is wrong at once.

What the sticker visa process involves
The Embassy’s announcement names where to go; it does not publish a document checklist, and we are not going to invent one. What the structure of a Turkish sticker visa application looks like, and what to confirm with the center before your appointment:
- The online pre-application completed first, through the Ministry’s pre-application system
- An appointment at the authorized center, since the submission is in person
- Biometric enrolment, meaning you must attend physically rather than send documents
- Passport, photographs, the printed pre-application form, and the supporting documents for your stated purpose of travel
- Documents that require translation and notarization in some cases, which is the slowest part of the timeline in Dhaka
Ask the center for its current checklist by phone or email before you assemble anything. That call is free, and it is the only version of the list that is current on the day you apply.
Things worth knowing before you pay
The official e-Visa site is evisa.gov.tr and nothing else. Turkey’s e-Visa attracts an unusually large ecosystem of lookalike sites, some with official-sounding names and government-style domains, that take your application, charge a service fee on top of the government fee, and submit the same form you could have submitted yourself. They are not always scams, but you are paying for typing. If the address bar does not say evisa.gov.tr, you are not on the government system.
A visa is not a guarantee of entry, and no one can promise approval. Turkish consular decisions are made on the individual file. Any agency promising an outcome is selling certainty it does not have.
Do not buy non-refundable flights first. This applies to both routes, but particularly the sticker route, where the timeline depends on appointment availability and on how fast you can get documents translated and notarized.
Where Turkey sits among your options
Turkey is unusual in this cluster because its difficulty depends less on your passport than on what else is already in it. If you have traveled to Europe, the US or the UK, Turkey is one of the easiest applications available to a Bangladeshi.
