This policy describes what information The Travel Tell (https://thetraveltell.com) actually collects and how it is used. It is written to match what this website really runs today — not a generic template of things it might someday do.
What we collect today
We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. As of the date above, this site has no Google Analytics, no advertising networks, and no social media tracking scripts.
The limited data handling that does occur:
- Server logs. Like virtually every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves this site may automatically record standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in server logs for security and operational purposes.
- Cookies. This WordPress site does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. WordPress sets cookies only for logged-in site administrators.
- Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of such requests is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Contact by email
This site does not currently have a contact form. If you email us at the address on our Contact page, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you. Email you send us is processed by our email provider (Gmail) under Google's Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share visitor information with anyone.
- We do not send newsletters or marketing email (we have no mailing list).
- We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this site changes
If we later add features that touch personal data — a contact form, comments, analytics, a newsletter, advertising, or affiliate programs — we will update this policy before or at the same time, and the "last updated" date above will change.
